    Hudson H9

At 34oz, it's probably alloy lower.

All of their specs say $1,147 MSRP. Still high, but not that high.

    HPA reintroduced

Maybe I'm too much the pessimist, but the timing seems like lip service. If they had a clear path to passage, it seems like they'd have some Senator nods publicly already.

    Yeah it's a Recce 5. Even a little quieter is OK. :)

    Piston Upper Question

Am I dumb to want a Adams Arms piston upper (7.5) for shooting an SBR Suppressed. Assume that the extra money is not a deal breaker (it's Christmas right?), is there any serious reason not to get one? Known faults? Will it make me (even) less manly?

    Suppressing big bore lever action

I have a Guide Gun in 45-70 with a Lane Scorpion. It makes 45-70 fun, not laborious to shoot. It is far from whisper quiet, but is decently suppressed. If I could have talked Brian into converting it to takedown, I would have. He said, "I don't really do that as much anymore..:)."

Any regular SET members do NFA engraving?

So, were the three folks who do engraving Dobbs, Dogleg, and Patryn? Anyone on SET on the East/North side of Atlanta (who do engraving)?

    Urban Rifle - Clint Smith

He was brave enough to make that video, super clear he was not comfortable with it for sure.

Have you thought about a katana as part of your SHTF gear?

In all seriousness, don't count on a katana. They are fabulous swords designed to be used people who's whole life was about fighting with that sword. Peasants were not given katanas for a variety of reasons, one of which was lack of training. A machete and adze, hell a gladius are easier people...

    Colonel Sanders

Don't think he's that old, but he was apparently a jackass of the highest order. He also apparently canned tuna and crackers since that is what he brought on every flight. There was an A&E/History Channel special featuring him a few years ago, he was a fierce competitor and absolutely driven to win.
